Guardian settles 211,597 claims by Q3 2026

Guardian Life Insurance Limited has settled a total of 211,597 insurance claims in the first three quarters of the financial year 2026, reinforcing its commitment to prompt claims settlement and policyholder support.The life insurer disbursed Tk 523.41 crore against these claims between January to September 2026. Of the total, Tk 235.45 crore was paid for 170,675 health claims, while Tk 257.32 crore was disbursed against 34,939 death claims. Guardian, BKMEA join hands to extend insurance protection to knitwear workforce

Guardian Life Insurance Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) today, Thursday, to make insurance protection and healthcare services more accessible to workers and employees in the country’s knitwear sector. Under the initiative, employees of BKMEA member factories will be able to access Guardian’s insurance services by paying an annual premium of only Tk 250.
