Guardian posts 34.3% growth in H1 2026 claim settlements
Guardian Life Insurance Limited has continued its strong claims settlement momentum, settling insurance claims worth Tk 334.09 crore during the first half (January–June) of 2026. The amount is 34.3 percent higher than the Tk 248.81 crore settled during the corresponding period last year, extending the company's upward trajectory in claim settlement.
During the six-month period, Guardian disbursed a total of 131,593 claims across life, health, policy maturities and other claims. Of the total amount settled, Tk 175.24 crore was paid against 23,740 death claims, while Tk 140.21 crore was disbursed for 104,259 health insurance claims. The company also settled 3,594 claims under policy maturities and other claims, amounting to Tk 18.65 crore.
