Guardian expands insurance reach through Upay partnership
Guardian Life Insurance Limited (Guardian) has recently signed an agreement with UCB Fintech Company Limited (Upay) to introduce an affordable and accessible insurance and healthcare solution for Upay customers. The initiative focuses on ready-made garments (RMG) workers, along with agents, DSOs, and distributors across the Upay ecosystem, many of whom have limited access to formal financial protection services.
The agreement was formalized by Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Life Insurance Limited, and Sajjad Alam, Head of Corporate Sales at Upay. The partnership marks a new step in Guardian’s efforts to expand inclusive insurance coverage across Bangladesh.
