Tk 3 Crore in Migration Loans Approved on myGov in One Month
To make overseas employment financing faster and more accessible for Bangladeshi migrant workers, a2i – the government’s digital transformation arm – has launched the ‘Migration Loan’ service on the myGov platform (www.mygov.bd). The service, introduced on 28 September 2025, is a joint initiative of Probashi Kallyan Bank (PKB) and a2i, enabling applicants to complete loan applications, verification, and approvals entirely online.
Within just one month, over 100 outbound workers have received loans totaling approximately Tk 3 crore, marking a significant milestone in the government’s drive for digital financial inclusion.
