BYD Becomes the World’s Most Innovative Automaker in Historic Global Ranking
BYD, the world’s leading New Energy Vehicle (NEV) manufacturer, has achieved a historic milestone by securing the top position in the Automotive INNOVATIONS Report 2026, published by the Center of Automotive Management (CAM), becoming the first Chinese automaker ever to lead the prestigious global innovation ranking.
The 22nd edition of the prestigious report evaluated more than 867 innovations from 36 global automotive groups using CAM's proprietary M.O.B.IL methodology, which assesses innovations based on Maturity, Originality, Benefit, and Innovation Level.
