BRAC Bank facilitates financial inclusion in hill districts through Agent Banking
BRAC Bank Agent Banking has reached marginalized people of Chattogram Hill Tracks, providing everyday banking solutions to remote communities.
The bank organized several ‘Uthan Boithok’, a financial awareness programme, in the hilly district of Khagrachari to inculcate financial literacy among tribal communities and ensure their financial inclusion. This is part of its continued pursuit of bringing the unbanked people under the formal banking umbrella.
