BRAC Bank conducts sensitisation workshop on disability inclusion
BRAC Bank has conducted a sensitisation workshop on disability inclusion in collaboration with the Bangladesh Business and Disability Network (BBDN), under its flagship CSR programme‘Aporajeyo Ami’.
The session, held on November 24, 2024, aimed to inspire 30 members from the Young Leaders (YL) batches of 2022 and 2023 to embrace inclusivity in the workplace.
The three-hour workshop was designed to break myths, stigma, and stereotypes about disabilities while fostering awareness about the barriers faced by persons with disabilities.
It also highlighted practical approaches to creating an enabling environment for employees and customers with disabilities within financial services and beyond.
