BFIDC’s Rubber Plantation Lease Renewal for 38,184 Acres: A Key Step for Revenue Growth and Climate Protection
A 40-year lease renewal agreement for rubber plantations has been signed between the Bangladesh Forest Industries Development Corporation (BFIDC) and the Forest Department. Over the years, the Forest Department has officially transferred 38,184.48 acres of land for 18 rubber plantations to BFIDC.
The agreement signing ceremony took place today at the ministry’s conference room in the Bangladesh Secretariat.
The event was graced by the chief guest, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, and the Ministry of Water Resources.
