
To strengthen students’ communication and presentation abilities, the Department of English at City University organized a special workshop titled Presentation Pro: From Classroom to Career.
Expert-Led Session
The session was conducted by Walid Ahmed, an internationally award-winning film director, author, and presentation coach. Drawing from his professional experience, he guided students on the art of impactful communication and effective presentation delivery, helping them bridge the gap between academic and professional success.
Collaborative Effort
The workshop was jointly organized by the Department of English Language and Literature (DELL), the English Language and Debating Club (ELDC), and the City University English Alumni Association (CUEAA) at the university’s Central Auditorium.
Distinguished Guests and Participation
Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahdat Kabir, Honorable Pro Vice-Chancellor of City University, attended the program as Chief Guest and distributed crests among participants. The event was chaired by Prof. Dr. Rahman M. Mahbub, Head of the Department of English and Advisor of ELDC.
The session turned into a vibrant and engaging learning experience, with enthusiastic participation from students. Notably, Walid Ahmed is himself a proud alumnus of the Department of English at City University, making the event even more special.
