As part of a nationwide initiative by Buro Bangladesh to plant 10 million trees in response to the climate crisis, saplings were planted at various locations on the campus of Daffodil International University (DIU) today on August 28, 2024 at DIU’s campus in Birulia, Savar.In response to the increasing global warming and adverse effects of climate change, Buro Bangladesh has undertaken a mission to plant 1 million trees during the monsoon season across the country. The United International University (UIU) has collected an emergency fund to extend a hand of support to the distressed families in flood-affected areas of the country.UIU students delivered food and essential items to flood-affected people in Burichang Upazila of Comilla on 28 August 2024 (Wednesday).Recently, severe floods in those areas have caused great damage to lakhs of people’s livelihoods. The members of UIU Social Services Club were divided into several groups to collectfunds and relief itemsfor the flood-affected people from the faculty members, administrative staffs, and students of UIU. Glenrich Uttara (formerly DPS STS School Dhaka) has celebrated the tremendous success of IGCSE, AS, and A Level students in Cambridge International's May-June 2024 session. The examination results, which were recently released globally, have brought recognition to the students and schools. A total of 424 students from Glenrich Uttara (formerly DPS STS School Dhaka) partake in Cambridge International's May-June 2024 session, out of which 161 for IGCSE, 151 for AS, and 112 for A Level. Each student's effort and dedication shone through their results, and it was particularly evident when fourteen of IGCSE and five of A Level candidates attained an average of 90 percent marks in their examinations.
