Captain A.K.M. Golam Kibria, Founder of the Dr. Mostafa Hazera Foundation and Chairman of MH Global Group, has announced a plan to work in phases with 700 top universities worldwide. He presented this plan before leading figures in the global education sector at the PIEoneer Awards 2026, recently held at the historic Guildhall in London.
Vice-chancellors, researchers, academicians, and innovators from universities of various countries were present at the event. There, Captain Kibria presented his ‘Five Zeros Global Philosophy’ and outlined a civilization centered on human equality and development for the next 100 years.
Addressing the academicians present, he posed a question: “A hundred years from now, will people stand in a museum, look at pictures of today’s poverty and humanitarian crises in astonishment, and ask—did people really live like this once?”
He stated that the rapid development of artificial intelligence and technology must be utilized to improve human dignity, equality, and living standards. The role of educational and research institutions is crucial in ensuring that the benefits of technological advancement reach all people in society.
To achieve this goal, he mentioned that the Dr. Mostafa Hazera Foundation has planned to work with 700 leading universities around the world in phases. According to him, universities are not merely institutions for acquiring knowledge; they also play an important role in social change and human development.
The core theme of this global initiative has been highlighted as: ‘700 Universities, Five Zeros, One Humanity, and a Century-long Dream’.
Captain Kibria said that to turn the current world’s humanitarian crises—such as poverty, homelessness, and illiteracy—into a thing of the past, collective action must begin right now. In this regard, education, technology, and global cooperation are being considered as the primary tools.
