Induction & Capability Development Program held at UIU

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of United International University (UIU) successfully organized a developing professional skills training titled “Administrative Excellence: Induction & Capability Development Program”yesterday at the UIU Campus, United City, Madani Avenue, Dhaka. The program was designed to enhance the capabilities of administrative personnel, align them with the university’s core values, and equip them with essential skills for success in academic administration.

Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor of UIU was present as the Chief Guest in the program. Prof. Dr. Salma Karim, Director of the BBAProgram, Dr. Sadid Muneer, Undergraduate Coordinator, Dept. of EEE, Dr. Md. Zulfiqur Rahman, Registrar of UIU, Prof.A.S.M.Salahuddin,Director(Coordination), UIU, Ms. Nargis Jahan, Controller of Examinations, UIU and Mr. Abu Sadat Md. Mostansirbilla, Director of thePublic Relations Office, UIU spoke at the training session. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. MofijulHoq Masum, FCMADirector ofIQAC and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Jakowan, Assistant Professor, SoBE andDeputy Director of IQAC, UIU.

The Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, formally opened the program, stressing the importance of administrative excellence in driving the university’s vision forward.

The program was conducted with the aim of ensuring that all administrative personnel are well-versed in the university’s culture, ethics, key policies, and best practices. The training focused on professional development through structured modules on leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, time management, and digital learning. It also aimed to enhance personnel capacity in managing student services, promoting a student-centric approach, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in alignment with the university’s mission and strategic goals.
