National Bank PLC organized its regional “Managers Meet” in Khulna, bringing together 23 branch managers from across the division to evaluate performance, exchange insights, and align strategies for the Bank’s continued growth and innovation.
The session was graced by Adil Chowdhury, Managing Director, as the Chief Guest, and attended by Md. Meshkat-Ul-Anwar Khan, Deputy Managing Director (In-Charge), along with senior executives, the regional manager, and branch heads.
Discussions during the event focused on strengthening key operational areas — deposit mobilization, loan recovery, import business expansion, and improved sales and marketing efforts — to ensure sustainable and quality growth.
In his keynote address, Adil Chowdhury emphasized the importance of leadership, integrity, and strategic vision in achieving long-term success. He outlined four guiding principles for branch managers to follow:
-
Foster an open and growth-oriented mindset
-
Maintain honesty and transparency
-
Stay positive amid challenges
-
Make every decision with a strong sense of ownership for the Bank’s future
“Time remains our greatest challenge. But with honesty, professionalism, and a commitment to quality business, we can position National Bank among the top five banks in Bangladesh,” said Adil Chowdhury, reaffirming the Bank’s vision for sustainable excellence.
The meeting concluded with a renewed collective pledge from all participants to strengthen customer confidence, accelerate business growth, and enhance National Bank’s competitive position nationwide.
