To provide priority-based services to the students of Bangladesh University, United Commercial Bank PLC (UCBL) has officially inaugurated a new sub-branch at Dhaka Udyan.
On Sunday (July 20) afternoon, the sub-branch was officially inaugurated by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University, Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam.
Distinguished guests at the event included Mr. Sajedul Islam, Treasurer of Bangladesh University; Engineer Moshiur Rahman, Member of the Board of Trustees; Mr. Maksud Ahmed, Executive Vice President & Regional Head of Dhaka South Region of UCBL; and Mr. Mosaddeque Md. Yusuff, First Vice President & Branch Manager of the Mohammadpur Branch. Senior officials from both institutions and other relevant individuals were also present.
With the establishment of this new sub-branch, students of Bangladesh University will now be able to pay their semester tuition fees and other charges easily and directly through this branch. In addition, they will also have access to other modern banking facilities provided by UCBL.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Mosaddeque Md. Yusuff, First Vice President and Branch Manager of UCBL’s Mohammadpur Branch, said, “We have had a longstanding relationship with Bangladesh University. This sub-branch has been established to make tuition fee payments easier for students. We also plan to introduce more modern and essential banking services in the future to help students realize their full potential.”
Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University, Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, said, “We believe that this sub-branch will directly benefit our students and their guardians. Bangladesh University has always played a supportive role in helping students fulfill their dreams, and this initiative will further strengthen that commitment.
